Description of COSMOS 1732 Satellite:
Cosmos 1732 was a Soviet geodetic satellite launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome aboard a Tsyklon 3 rocket. It provided five ways for determining satellite position:
1. Doppler system working at 150 and 400 MHz and providing 3 cm accuracy 2. High intensity lights flashing 3 times per second, allowing precise location by ground observatories 3. Radio transponder working at 5.7/3.4 GHz and providing 5 m accuracy 4. Laser reflector providing 1.5 m accuracy 5. Radar reflector working at 9.4 GHz providing 5 m altitude accuracy.
